Evoking the spindle is obviously about a garment that the under 20 can not know. A time when fashion has made (re) born the most incongruous trends, the famous underwire leggings stretched under the foot, remnant of the 30s and their first outfits dedicated to winter sports. But three decades later, the spindle is coming back.  


Behind this unlikely come back , creators uncomfortable, visibly inclined to surf the eighties revival ambient to its every nook and cranny. One thinks Demna Gvasalia and his wife Balenciaga matchant time black jacket and shoes XXL bijoutés or irreplaceable Consuelo Castiglioni at Marni who feared for the winter time on a retro fashion arty, with great fanfare puffy blouses and deconstructed mesh . Seductive approaches, but applied to life, the real one , remain difficult to conclude.


Difficult indeed to eradicate the ultra kitsch memory of the spindle of our youth and not to see a deeply ridiculous accessory. We can only recommend to the intrepid fashion who dare to venture to maintain a certain vigilance and so opt to start for a soberly black model, tapered, but certainly not narrow, that we take care to wear as the girls in the wind: the elastic placed under the shoe, and not in it. Finally, combined with a sophisticated blouse, a graphic sweater and a pair of sleek heels, one could almost be surprised to desire it.
