From 14 to 29 May 2016 , the Fair Trade Fortnight returns for a 16th edition in France. In line with the BIO trend , fair trade seeks to highlight small-scale producers in poor countries by reselling their production in department stores. During these 15 days, fair trade is celebrated by the event's partners, leading brands of the food industry for the most part. The goal : to explain the stakes to the greatest number. Among the many workshops set up throughout France for the occasion, here are 3 that are worth a visit.

Lacooperative of stores specializing in organic food, Biocoop, has developed activities for the Fair Trade Fortnight. On Saturday, May 21, 2016 , in a selection of stores throughout France, Biocoop offers:
- make your own smoothie thanks to the bike smoothie : you will have to pedal to produce energy and so be able to mix the fruits before enjoying its juice.
- explain the price difference between an organic product and a supermarket product . A local organic producer will come to present and taste the products resulting from its production and explain its fair trade approach.

In addition to all these events, citizens are also invited to organize their own equitable workshop in the spring during the Fair Trade Fortnight: aperitif between neighbors, picnic with friends ... Good products and warm atmosphere are obviously de rigueur. And if you do not feel the soul of an organizer, you can also participate in one of these initiatives listed on motion-fair.org!
