Each season the fringe wins a few inches and now comes to brush the fringe of the eyelashes ... A (good) reason to make a small visit to his hairdresser? Not necessarily. Our tips for trimming your fringe at home in (almost) 5 minutes and 4 steps.

Step 1: Well Equipped

No fringe well cut, without suitable equipment. Then, we equip ourselves. And we invest in the necessary equipment so as not to miss ourselves:
- a pair of scissors with short blade to touch the length (it is better for the precision of the gesture),
- a comb with fine toothed tines (these are the combs that are generally used to crepe hair)
- an elastic and two kirby pins (these flat pliers and non-slip, impec to fix).

It is done ? We go on to the next step.

Step 2: Define the area

No question of throwing fringe down. To cut your fringe, it is better to first mark the area to be worked. With the aid of the comb, the fringe is covered forwards, starting from the middle and then catching lengths and small hair located on the sides. The rest of the mass is attached in a ponytail so as not to interfere with the operation and, on both sides of the face - at the temples - the small rebellious locks are fixed by means of hairpins. The place is clear, the fringe well clear, we can go.

Step 3: Go to the cut

For this crucial step, the secret is to cut the fringe dry. Indeed, wet hair has an unfortunate tendency to "go up" once dried; and on a fringe every millimeter counts ... We then comb the said fringe so that it smoothes and untangles it, then -signs horizontally- we start by cutting straight, first at the center between the two eyebrows point to aim is the root of the eyebrow), then one gradually sizes towards the temples, one side then the other, remaining just below the eyebrows.

Step 4: Refining the final result

Once the line of the fringe is cut, the scissors should be held vertically. There, the tip of the fringe is tapered by "picking", so as to avoid a result too sharp, too fixed.
