This is not a scoop: fashion is an eternal beginning. Season after season, the previous decades are repeating the end of their trends despite an air of déjà-vu a bit tiresome. A well-honed mechanics in short, that we thought we knew on the fingertips.

But that was not counting the 2000s, which unlike the sixties & co , had never foreshadowed a possible return. Yet the exhibits are there, before our eyes. Demonstration.

The all-logo

A sign of ostentatious belonging, the logotyped garment had been forced into exile by the end of the 2000s, both for ready-to-wear brands and equipment manufacturers, to make way for almost anonymous parts. An ode to seemingly endless discretion, the logos of luxury brands invading (again) our field of vision, from Loewe to Gucci via Vetements and Calvin Klein.

The peach skin

Collaboration halo hype with Juicy Couture requires, the label Vetements seems to want to rehabilitate the famous pink velvet tracksuit B arbie dear to Paris Hilton , Britney Spears or Diam's in its hexagonal version. The latter can also rejoice: Lacoste revisits to make it a blue skin of the most desirable peach, in which we will undeniably style, platinum blonde or not.

The jacket too short

That the one who never strutted in the corridors of the school in his micro-jacket throws us the first stone ... and in no case give in to temptation. In its down jacket or bomber version , this stylistic UFO makes a daring comeback attempt without really succeeding in convincing the reasoned adults that we have become. Maybe our teens will put them on with more enthusiasm, who knows.

The lacing

A symbol of the sexy Christina Aguilera , lacing was once the only stylistic twist of our clothes, from low-waisted trousers to cagulas with v-neck top. Stomped proudly by Kim, Kendall and other members in view of the sulphurous Kardashian clan, the lace-up top returns proudly to the podiums as if nothing had happened, under some unsuspected sophisticated airs.

The chain belt

If there is a accessory of the 2000s that our subconscious has hidden, it is the belt. Already seen on the Vuitton Spring / Summer 2016 show, it was also spotted on the Moschino show in a neo-SM version that leaves us pensive. It is difficult to see each other at the next client meeting with flashy carnations around the pool. But we will refrain from issuing any judgment against the colleague who would have the audacity to draw.
