Background notes, what is it?
The background notes are composed of heavy materials, the heaviest of the olfactory pyramid. They take place several hours after you have sprayed the perfume on your skin. They have the longest life span. Indeed, they are tenacious and settle from several hours to several days. Their function is therefore to fix the perfume. The nose therefore chooses them, among other things, for their fixative effect. The background is the base of the perfume, its wake constitutes the memory. It is him that you can feel on your clothes several days after spraying. It comes to create a bond of attachment and nostalgia with you. A link that is stronger and more lasting than the blow of heart that can cause the head notes.
