RHASSOUL PROPERTIES
The excellent virtues of rhassoul for the skin have been recognized since ancestral times. This 100% natural clay cleans the skin deeply and effectively clears it of its impurities. Rich in minerals such as magnesium, silica, potassium and calcium, its absorbent properties are more powerful than most other kinds of clays. Rhassoul thus regulates excess sebum, promotes the regeneration of the skin, and restores elasticity. The rhassoul care is perfect to restore tone to a skin in loss of vitality. Rhassoul is also a very good exfoliant. It removes dead cells gently, without attacking the epidermis. This soft care is therefore particularly well suited to oily or acne-prone skin. It is also recommended for dry and delicate skin.
GUMPING IN THE RHASSOUL
Rhassoul can be used as a full scrub of the body once a week, or even once a month for normal skin. The preparation of rhassoul is quite fast. Simply slice the clay powder in a bowl with a little warm water until a smooth paste is obtained. You can replace the mineral water with rose water. By adding a few drops of essential oil to your preparation, you will increase its effects (lavender for damaged skin, grapefruit for blood circulation). Apply rhassoul all over your body, then massage gently with small circular motions. Insist on the corpus callosum (elbows, knees ...). Leave on for about 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. You can finish your treatment by applying a body oil like argan oil.
MASKS IN THE RHASSOUL
Rhassoul masks are ideal for oily skin and prone to blackheads. After preparing the rhassoul, leave your mask on the face for a quarter of an hour. Rinse gently, taking care to remove all residues of clay. Dry with a warm towel. To perfect this treatment for oily skin, apply on the face a vegetable oil with a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Rhassoul masks also have anti-aging properties. To find a firm and full-tone skin, mix with your basic preparation one to two drops of essential oil of rosewood, or better, rose of Damascus. Apply this mask for about 10 minutes before rinsing. Rhassoul masks can be made once a week.
