Grease, odors, rust ... Even cleaned regularly, a kitchen is not always impeccable. Yet all you need are beautiful market lemons and some grandmother's tricks to make it shine like a new one. Explanations.

A fridge that smells good

To eliminate odors that stagnate in our fridge, we slip a slice of lemon placed in a cup. Magical (or almost!), The lemon absorbs all the unpleasant scents.

A nickel microwave

As we know, the microwave is a real hassle to clean. If it is placed high, there is a tendency to miss some places and the hygiene becomes more than average. A lemon is cut into a bowl with one half of water and heated for five minutes. The steam of the mixture will take off the encrusted dirt . It only remains to swipe - without having to rub - and voila!

Sponges that last longer

They can quickly become true nests to bacteria. To avoid contaminating our dishes, we soak our sponge overnight in lemon juice. The next day, they are perfectly cleaned! Attention anyway, a sponge that "feels" must go to the trash.

Bye bye rust stains

When opening the dishwasher, it's a bad surprise: our stainless steel cutlery and our pots are sprinkled with small rust spots! Do not panic, it is the consequence of excess salt in the machine. To eliminate the stains, put a few drops of lemon on the parts concerned and let it work. It eliminates oxidation and our cutlery will be like new.
