Why do we look at Indian Summers?

We look at the series for the interesting historical aspect which aims to return to a specific fact. Indian Summers also offers us a total escape, first of all towards a bygone era that are the thirties where costumes three pieces and saris are at the rendezvous, but also with stunning scenery worthy of paintings, all in a universe british so chic .

It is also a romantic series where politics, sex, family stories and passion mingle to become a kind of vaudeville revisited on a background of history.

Indian Summers: What did we like?

The series that narrate family stories, romantic relationships and political adventures are always popular. Between conspiracies, malevolence, misunderstanding and stories of love, everything is brought together to make us see all colors and keep us in breath.

We also like the fact that the script is inspired by the story and it offers us breathtaking scenery to travel from its sofa. We also retain the presence of actress Julie Walters, the great lady of the series, notably known for her role as Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter saga.

You'll love it if ...

Undeniably, you'll love Indian Summers if you were addicted to Downtown Abbey in the same series style: family stories and romantic relationships in a precise historical context.

You will also like Indian Summers if you like English history or you are attracted to India because you discover the two cultures, the customs that differ, and also intrigues inspired by Indian movies and very British movies . A good mix for the followers of these two universes.
