Fashioned Fashion Weeks
More and more fashion houses are shaking up the official parade calendar. After Gucci , Bottega Veneta or JW Anderson , Roberto Cavalli adopts the format of the mixed parades. It is during the Milan-Autumn-Winter Fashion Week 2018-2019 that the Italian house will unveil its new collection by simultaneously presenting its masculine and feminine lines. A short-term change since the brand will be added again in January 2019 to the official calendar with separate men's and women's collections.

Others decide to slow down the pace to combat the frantic pace imposed by the official calendar. This is particularly the case of the Swedish brand Acne Studios, which is withdrawing from the official calendar of ready-to-wear and opts for that of haute couture. The Australian label Ellery reduces its collections to two per year presented during the week of haute couture in Paris. Vivienne Westwood gives up London Fashion Week and will unveil her new collection in a digital format on January 8th.
