The Virades of Hope: giving your breath to fight cystic fibrosis

Organized by the association Defeat Mucoviscidose, the 32nd edition of Virades de l'espoir is taking place everywhere in France on Sunday, September 25th. It is a festive annual event that gives breath for those who miss it! Concretely, we run, we walk, we pedal .... The goal is to raise awareness, to better understand what is cystic fibrosis, while raising funds for research. Bringing together more than a million participants each year, the Virades make it possible to unite in one day: the sick, relatives, carers, researchers, volunteers and donors ... It is also the first source of fundraising of the association (50 %), events having collected more than 100 million euros since 1983.

The Virades of Hope: How to participate?

Convivial, the Virades are an event to which everyone can participate: children, parents, schools, businesses or associations. To participate, it is a question of coming to breathe, practicing running, walking or cycling. In short, a sporting activity! It is then necessary to be sponsored so that the donations are donated to Defeat Cystic Fibrosis. To find the Virade nearest you, just visit the association's website. It is not less than 350 Virades that are organized throughout France.
