If the tree is undeniably the star of the holiday decor , no Christmas tree worthy of the name without balls!

Our tips for a beautiful fir tree

Yes, yes it is a serious subject. Because not mastered, the art of decorating the Christmas tree can wreak havoc. And nobody wants to end up with a lousy Christmas tree on Christmas Eve (no?). And even if we let the youngest decorate the tree as they please, we do not hesitate to give them a little help, gently, so that the result is up to the task!

  1. The garlands , we love when they give beautiful shining reflections to the tree. And not when they cover it totally. We avoid overloading the tree and opt for 2 or 3 garlands to which we can add 1 light string. And to put them in place in an elegant way we avoid crossing: we start from the top of the tree and we wind the garland all the way to the base. Obviously if the garland is too short we make a small connection by chaining with another, preferably the same color.
  2. The balls are evenly distributed avoiding to put 2 on the same branch. We also take care not to put 2 identical balls on branches that are side by side ... and we step back to be sure of its result.
  3. A fir tree decorated with 360 ° is essential! Generally it is leaning against a wall, and, suddenly, we think it is useless to decorate the area that is 'against' the wall. But if we do that, a clear break may appear. On this side of the tree, we still place a few balls to give the illusion of a Christmas tree decorated on all sides and create a beautiful harmony.
