"They got married and had a lot of children. "After childhood, this kind of cinematic conclusion no longer satisfies us as much. The denouements at the Walt Disney gradually give way to scenes of mythic marriages, whether moving, tragic or downright comical. As the magic of the big screen, actresses in wedding dresses have this inimitable ability to make us dream.

It is difficult indeed not to be subjugated by the dress of Elizabeth Taylor in the first version of the Father of the bride in 1950 or that of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Frimousse. Certainly their style seems outdated and too loaded, but delivered in the context of the time, these wedding dresses are still some way to make us fantasize.

More modern, the wedding dresses of period films of recent years also have something to inspire us. We think in particular of Carey Mulligan in Gatsby the Magnificent whose fictitious wedding dress was imagined by Miuccia Prada or Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge.

More recently, some wedding dresses of modern heroines also we really wanted to get married. For example Sarah Jessica Parker in wedding dress Vivienne Westwood in the first installment of Sex and The City or Keira Knightley , juvenile in her winter wedding dress in Love Actually .
