The principle
It is enough to register on a site that connects families wanting to exchange their residences. We can even agree to exchange the cars or take his animals ! Most of these sites are charged, between 40 and 125 € the annual fee. Once registered, you describe your accommodation and the dwelling of your dreams and your choice of destination. How do I do if ...
... I have a large family? There are no restrictions, just specify it when you write your wishes so that we do not offer you accommodation too small.
... our dates do not match? If you have found the house of your dreams in Tuscany, but not on the right dates, you should know that the delayed departure is possible: you leave in July, they come in August and during this time you stay with friends or of the family !
... I am a tenant? You can "barter" in the same way as an owner, since no financial transactions are made.

And the law in all this?
This practice is based on a moral contract : it has no legal value but makes it possible to find its home in perfect condition. On the insurance side, make sure that yours covers the damage done by a third person in your absence . Some insurers may also claim a supplement. But, in short, it's a bit like leaving your home sweet home to friends.
