When temperatures drop and the flowers reappear, run-of-the-mill addicts who had become unmotivated in winter are once again walking the trails and their favorite parks. With the coming holidays and bridges in May, why not combine travel and running? Overview of the five European cities that allow this combo:

  • Copenhagen: 10 kilometers 100% tourist

No, the capital of Denmark is not just the city of bicycles, although a third of its inhabitants are big cyclists. The proof: lastminute has discovered a course of 10 kilometers ideal to visit Copenhagen running.

The departure takes place in front of the town hall, one of the most prestigious buildings in the city, and then continues in the Tivoli Gardens, Denmark's second oldest amusement park. For the rest, direction Nyhavn, the central channel of Copenhagen, one of the most photographed and put forward on the social network Instagram. You will also discover the famous Little Mermaid, the old docks, the Queen's Palace, or the Opera House just opposite.

  • London: 12 kilometers between the hills and the Thames

The English city is immense and abounds in a park where the joggers come together, far from the crowds and the hustle and bustle.

For a well thought-out London jog, bet on the English "clichés" that make us dream so much: Start the run at Westminster Palace, not far from Big Ben. Go through Leicester Square or Hyde Park if you want more tranquility, then cross past the bucolic Regent's Park to end up at Primrose Hill (the hill located in the Camden area to admire London from above). Then turn around to find yourself on the banks of the Thames, better and better equipped to take the air and blow after these 12 kilometers.

  • Budapest: less than 3 km before the thermal bath

Known primarily for being the historic capital of the thermal spa, we may prefer the bath to the running during the weekend discovery. And lastminute.com proposes a run of about 3 kilometers, to unwind without tiring.

The thermal spa is therefore a good excuse to finish jogging in a public bath. Start the sports session on the Gellért-Hegy hill (which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to admire the city from another angle, then come back down and bathe yourself!

  • Paris: 7 kilometers to two in the middle of nature

Just like London, Paris is full of courses and belongs to these dynamic capitals that shelter addicts to the running. Between the Bois de Boulogne, the Tuileries, Parc Monceau, the Buttes Chaumont and so many others, there's plenty to do.

For spring, lastminute.com offers 7 km a little special: on 19 March, the travel site is partner of the "Love Run". The second edition provides 7 kilometers of passion to do in a duo linked by the wrists. The race will take place in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne and amateurs as big runners are invited! For the other days, adopt the "Zen" race in one of your favorite parks to refocus you, and nature.

  • Prague: less than 4 kilometers on the heights

3.8 kilometers for a weekend tempt you? The town with a hundred bell towers offers the opportunity to discover the Letná Park through the running, located on the heights of a hill. A beginner's course, or a traveler simply wishing to run during his stay without wasting too much time.

Want a little more greenery? Take a break in the middle of the park, the Beergarten in Letna where you will find an open brewery (it is said to be the best in Prague) to combine effort and pleasure.
