- Hedonists are older ( 53 years on average ) and mainly go as a couple .
- Culture addicts leave about 3 times a year on weekends, by plane or by train. These couples, aged 48 years on average, seek to visit museums and discover the cultural aspect of a city. Culture and discovery remain the first motivation of the French: 27% leave in weekend for these reasons.
- Bargain hunters leave a little more than 3 times a year (surely in the sales period ) when prices are at their lowest.
- The tribes that leave with family. They want to share a maximum with their children and leave on weekends about 3 times a year . Moreover, 13% of French people leave for a weekend to participate in a family event such as a wedding or a baptism and 11% to enjoy their loved ones.
- Anxious people need to be advised before leaving. The weekend is often synonymous with rest for these French without children aged on average 47 years. 22% of French respondents go on weekends to rest and recharge their batteries.
